The Artist, age 28 was born in Seattle, Washington and attended Seattle Middle College High School.

1995        He won artistic merit from the Seattle City Department of Neighborhoods in a Juried competition for  “Thanks Neighbor” working at “Studio 1” a non-profit greeting card company operated by students from Seattle’s inner-city high schools.

  2000        Writing about the human condition was another favored vocation as lyricist, performer and co-producer in the Hip-Hop rap group the Playa’ Pimps based in Yakima, Washington.

Jesse Barbee’s artistic mediums of choice are bonded paper, pencil and ballpoint pen. His most recent graphic artwork can be seen at the Lottie Motts Coffee Shop through March, 2004.
